I once had one show up 30-45 minutes BEFORE the window.
I was working at that time. My dog at the time would NOT allow service people in the yard. (PG&E Maced him turning him from a luvbug into Kujo to anyone in a uniform). my ticket clearly stated that there was a guard dog on the premises and they were NOT allowed to enter the property without me present.
I get home about 15 minutes before the window to find a notice on the gate from the phone company "sorry we missed you, please call to reschedule, the dog won't let me in the yard"
I called and read the phone company the riot act. Not only did I have to take time off work to be present, but now I was going to have to take a second day off work because they came when they were not supposed to. When they countered that they should be able to access the property at any time I asked them to read my record back to me. "Guard dog on premises... Oh." Clearly flagged guys!
