I have been trying to track that CD down for AGES because of just that particular track! What an odd coincidence!!
I heard che puro ciel with David Daniels and the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment on a radio station in a taxi once and it so blew me away I had to jump through hoops to find out what it was.
I have since acquired several recordings of it, but not *the* recording - it's turned into a peculiar quest.
Anyway, I bet it was an AMAZING concert. Lucky you!!
