Irreverent? Or just plain tacky?

I was browsing the La Repubblica website for my Italian homework, and came across a story about this ad. (The text means "Ten Years of Passion".)

Sony got the Vatican all in a lather. "Already there are many children who say Heaven is a place where you drink coffee, remembering another ad", fumed Antonio Sciortino, of Famiglia Cristiana.

Apparently Sony has now withdrawn the ad.
