OH, ugh.

I was going to be a good little hostess and do a diligent clean-up of the guest bath in preparation for my sister's arrival on Thursday. I went under the kitchen sink for cleaning supplies, and it's wet!! I keep stuff in a plastic pan under there, and it was half-full of disgusting dirty black water. Yes, kiddies, I have a leaky pipe. On the bright side, I have a double sink and this is on one side only, so I can use the other sink (but not the garbage disposal), and since it was leaking into the pan I just have to clean that out and toss some of the irretrievable stuff (water does nothing for the cardboard box of dishwasher detergent). And because I can use the other sink, it's not an emergency and I can wait for a non-"pay through the nose" day for the plumber to come fix it.

Nevertheless . . .
