Nothing like a porch swing in the summer. Unless it's a porch swing with cats - they were elsewhere when I took the photo. (My sister has five!)

Excellent choices. Your photos are really exquisite. You have a great eye. I'm impressed with the detail and use of light (either a damn good camera or a good understanding of photographic principles or a combination of both !).
I can't even pick a favorite: the squirrel, the porch swing, the church at dusk... each one is special.

Thank you so much! My camera is Canon Power Shot A630, not the fanciest on the lot by any means, but it works very well for me. I like, of course, to think that I have a good eye, and it's nice to hear other folks think the same!

That's one of my favorites, too. I find that since I've gotten my digital camera and gone on Flickr, and begun posting here, I take lot of photos, and am noticing the little things like this much more.
