mojosmom: (My House)
I know it officially started some time ago, but today the magnolia trees outside our building are madly flowering, tulips and violets and other flowers are finally in evidence, I've slept the last few nights with the windows open, and I've been going outside without a coat, I took the storm window out of my back door and put in the screen -- so it must be spring!

Mornings like this remind me of the quotation from Kazantzakis:
"I said to the almond tree, 'Sister, speak to me of God,' and the almond tree blossomed."

what I did with my passport?

It's not where it's supposed to be. I have torn my desk apart. I have looked in all the drawers I can think of. I've looked in boxes and file cabinets. I can't find it.

Fortunately, I don't need it to travel to and from Canada, but for one panic-stricken moment I was sure that my birth certificate was in the same place as my passport, and then I really would have been up the creek. But I found that fairly quickly.

This is, however, going to drive me nuts. (Not to mention all the time I've spent searching that I was going to use doing other things.)

So if you see it, let me know.
