( I really ought to have written about the Festival as it was happening, but, what can I say? I didn't, so this will be pretty long. )

Since I couldn't get an extra ticket to La Bohème for my sister (they've been sold out for a couple of months), and since some friends were looking for tickets for his parents, I decided to forego the opera (I've seen this production a zillion times) and spend the time with my sister. So I dropped by their house this afternoon with the ticket, and D. said, "Come on in, I have something for you." And proceeded to give me this jar of honey from the hives in his backyard.
