Boston

I'm going to Boston the first week in August, arriving on the 3rd and leaving on the 9th. I wanted to see the Titian, Tintoretto, Veronese: Rivals in Renaissance Venice show at the Museum of Fine Arts, and then I discovered that one of my professional organizations is having a seminar in Boston that Thursday & Friday! I will, therefore, be killing two birds with one stone, not to mention being able to write off some portion of my travel expenses. The seminar is at the Westin Copley Place Hotel, which is too rich for my blood even with the group rate, so I'm staying a few blocks away at the Midtown.

I plan on spending a lot of time at the MFA and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum, and there are a couple of interesting-sounding evening events at each as well.

If any of you who are relatively nearby want to take a road trip, that would be very cool!
