You have the most awesome refrigerator magnets! That's one of my favorite things about my new 'Cleansteel' refrigerator--it allows magnets! (The real stainless one I had before didn't.)

What is NoNoNoNo? When I googled it, I found, among other things, a bizarre and disturbing 1957 government film clip of a cat on LSD.

It's technically NoNaNoWriNoNoMo: "Non-National Not Writing a Novel Non-Month", a photographic response to Na(tional)No(vel)Wri(ting)Mo(nth), but is shortened to NoNoNoNo. The idea is to post 50 images in 30 days, with the emphasis on quantity, not quality.

I learned about it from Madame_Urushiol a few years ago. It's great fun, but I'm way behind this year because my camera broke toward the end of October and was in the shop until last week.

Your fridge is left handed. Or are they all that way around in the US?

When you buy a fridge here, you can choose which way you want the door to open. Mine was with the apartment when I bought it, so I didn't choose, but it makes sense with the way my kitchen is laid out. The kitchen is a narrow rectangle, with fridge and counter space on one side, and dishwasher, sink and stove on the other - what we call a "galley kitchen". So if the door opened the other way, it would block access to the rest of the kitchen.

Ah - that would be handy, to be able to choose. They are generally right-handed in the UK, at least the ones I've observed. When I bought mine I did not have a choice to make it left handed.
