The owner is from Brazil, but she’s been here for quite a while. It’s pretty clearly not a mistake. I think when they do open, I’ll ask about it.
The person I talked to at Amazon said that they needed to associate the pick-up with an account, or they couldn’t make the arrangements with their delivery service. Which makes no sense to me whatsoever, because a) what if the person where it's left doesn't have an account, and b) the misdelivery has nothing to do with the person who finds it. Corporate bureaucracy at its worst. I did drop the package off at the person's building.
