That is incredibly sad; I shopped at Fields in both Milwaukee and Chicago and thought it was a "cut above".
While we were in Pittsburgh we found out that Kaufmann's, Pittsburgh's retail landmark (the clock outside was a meeting place since the '30's) is also being bought out by Macy's. How I hate the corporate world.
