Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Good lord, no. I like my teeth.
Are you for or against abortion?
Yes/neither. I believe that the choice to have an abortion is one that should be made by the woman, in consultation with her doctor and the father (assuming he is in the picture and involved). I also believe that it is a choice that we should strive to make less necessary, that we need to deal with the reasons behind unwanted pregnancy (be they economic, emotional, educational).
Would our country (United States) fall with a woman president?
Oh, don't be silly. If Israel didn't fall with a woman leader, if Great Britain didn't fall with a woman prime minister, if India didn't, why would the U.S?
Do you believe in the death penalty?
No. It results in a corrupt criminal justice system, coarsens those who enforce it, inevitably results in the death of innocents, and does not deter crime.
Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
I wouldn't put it as intensely as that, but I do think it makes sense to legalize marijuana. The taxes would be an excellent source of income, and it is certainly much less damaging that alcohol.
Do you believe in God?
No.
Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?
Yes.
Do you think it's wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA?
I have no objection. I don't care where immigrants come from, as long as they come legally. If they come illegally, I don't care if they are from Poland or Nicaragua, it's wrong.
A twelve year old girl has a baby...should she keep it?
I cannot imagine any circumstances in which a 12-year-old child would be capable of raising a child herself. So, no.
Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?
Yes.
Assisted suicide is illegal...do you agree?
Well, it's not illegal everywhere. And I don't think it should be.
Do you believe in spanking your children?
I don't have kids. Generally speaking, I don't have an issue with one swift swat on the behind.
Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?
Sure. The flag is a mere symbol. It has no inherent value. But think of the good one could do with a million dollars!
A mother is declared innocent after murdering her 5 children in a temporary insanity case, do you agree?
This question is utterly meaningless and unanswerable as posed. Which mother? What are the facts of the case? What was the evidence presented? Was she found "not guilty" or "not guilty by reason of insanity"? (I know of no jurisdiction in the U.S. that has an "innocent" verdict.)
Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
Afraid? Why should I be? I assume some people will, but that's their problem.
