I can't help it. I laughed at the juxtaposition of these two stories:

"Bush Pardons Two Thanksgiving Turkeys"

"House Republicans today approved a change in party rules to prevent their majority leader, Tom DeLay, from having to step down from his leadership position should he be indicted in an investigation in Texas."

Sometimes I wonder if Texas can survive 4 more years of this humiliation. We generally have a pretty good sense of humor, after all, we survived LBJ, but, 4 more years may be tough on us! ;-)
