Just a quick note to say that I did get to Venice. Despite the snow, my flight was not cancelled (it just left an hour late due to de-icing). I had a fabulous (if too short) time, and will fill you in on all the details later. Right now, it's about 5:00 a.m. Venice time, and I'm going to bed!
