I went to an author reading at the First Unitarian Church this evening, Forrest Church (not a typo-he's the Rev. Dr. Forrest Church, son of Sen. Frank Church, and pastor of All Souls Church in NYC). A prolilfic author, he was discussing the subject of his latest book, So Help Me God: The Founding Fathers and the First Great Battle over Church and State. It was a very interesting talk, and so I bought the book. I also took some photos:
The organ in First Church's Hull Chapel

Memory in stone. (I quite like this one. There used to be two hymn number holders - there must be a technical name for this but I don't know it - on either side of the chancel. They have been removed, but on one side, you can still see this shadow.)
A thousand cranes Origami cranes that hang between columns in the side aisle of the nave of First Church
