Thanks for the link. Your partner reminds me of an actor, but I can't remember his name! I knew that about re-enactors from Tony Horwitz's "Confederates in the Attic" which is an excellent read, even if you're only half interested, because he writes so very well. I read it just before going to Virginia two years ago, and it gave me a good background to understand things I was seeing, even though, overall it's a quite light-hearted book. Next time I should check to see if there are any happening before I go!
