It just struck me that you might be interested in this: http://holeinthedonut.com/ Barbara Weibel from the HoleintheDonut blog was in New Orleans recently too. I've come to know Barbara over the last couple of years, and her writing is always interesting. She gets under the surface of a place. I've really been enjoying the pieces she's done on New Orleans.
