Much stuff done!

Buy Christmas cards, address, stamp & mail them.
Go to the bank.
Buy a Christmas tree and put it up. (still not decorated, though! )
Shop for groceries.
Make dish to take to Fran's for Sunday dinner. (decided to do this in the morning)
Buy gift wrap.
Wrap presents for the people who will be at Fran's. (No thanks to Lilith, whose idea of "helping" is to sit on the gift bags!)
Buy pillows and bed linens. (I ended up going to Bed, Bath & Beyond, because it is close to the next item on the list!0
Go to the Facets Multimedia DVD/video sale. (Considering what I spent, it's a good thing I didn't find out about the sale until the last weekend. Can't imagine what I'd have done with an un-picked over stock!)
Do the usual around-the-house stuff. (Well, some of it. Did a load of dishes, picked up cat food at the vet, etc.)

Now I am relaxing with a cup of tea.

Just back from Jim and Kevin's party. Would have stayed longer but I have to get up in the morning and cook (au gratin potatoes). Lovely as always, great food, plenty to drink, the usual variety of academic, legal, musical folks. They are only about three blocks from me, so naturally I walk over. There were a few non-sticking flurries when I went, but by the time I left it was coming down more heavily and starting to stick. So pretty. Not too cold, either, though tomorrow is supposed to be frigid. Looked like there was a wedding going on at Rodfei Zedek, judging by the music and dancing going on when I walked by on the way home.
